Routine Work

今日は，天気が悪くものすごく揺れています．

そんな中でもみんな仕事を行っています．

今回の船では，主に6つの作業が行われています．

1. ピストンコアラーによる堆積物採取

2. マルチプルコアラーによる表層堆積物採取

3. ドレッジによる生物，岩石採取

4. 物理探査による海底地形調査

5. 表層海水採取

6. プランクトンネット

私は，5番目の表層海水採取に配属されました．

表層海水採取は，1日に2回．朝食後と夕食後に行います．

仕事内容は，簡単に説明すると，海水をろ過し，プランクトンや有機物を採取することです．

ここ数日は他の観測が始まっていないので，ひたすらこれを行う毎日です．

他の観測が始まれば，これに加え他の業務も手伝います．

色々なものを見ることができるので，今後が楽しみです．

We are working in spite of bad weather.

We have mainly 6 works on the ship.

1. Taking a marine sediment using piston corer

2. Taking a surface marine sediment using multiple corer

3. Taking a rock and creature using dredge

4. Research for submarine terrane using physical investigation

5. Taking sea surface water

6. Plankton Net

I am assign to take surface sea water.

I work twice a day after breakfast and dinner.

The work is to take plankton and organic matter by filtering sea water.

The others works will be started, at then I can help the others works.
