Cape Horn

プンタアレナスを出発し，フィヨルドを抜け，外洋に出ました．

フィヨルドを通るには，フィヨルドオフィサーという人が必要みたいで，チリの人が2人乗船しています．

フィヨルドは浅瀬のところが点在しているらしく，この人たちがいないと座礁してしまうみたいです．

（途中には座礁して傾いた漁船？が．．．）

フィヨルドを出た辺りには，軍船が待っていて，フィヨルドオフィサーたちはここで降りていきました．

軍船が去っていくのを見ると，ついに取り残されてしまった感がすごく，1ヶ月の旅にようやく出たな，という思いです．

フィヨルドの終点には南アメリカ最南端のホーン岬があり，世界の果てまで来たことを実感します．

それを見送ると，すぐに外洋へでて世界最強の海峡であるドレーク海峡に突撃です．

待ってろ！南極海．

We left from Punta Arenas via Fjord and went out the open ocean.

Fjord officer required for passing on Fjord.

The Fjord is dotted with shallows, so we will run aground without Fjord officer.

Fjord officer got off at the end of the Fjord, taking the navy ship that was waiting there.

I really felt that our travel about 1 month is started when I looked leaving the navy ship.

There is cape Horn that is the southernmost tip of South America at end of the fjord.

Next our ship is bound for Drake Passage.
